Flu shot options

Need a flu shot? Find a location that fits your schedule and your budget.

Retail, urgent care or walk-in clinic
You can get your flu shot at more than 25,000 supermarkets, drug stores or urgent care centers that participate in Aetna’s network.

It's convenient. You pick the time and location that's best for you.

It can cost less. You won't pay anything if you get your shot at an approved site. Find one in our DocFind® directory. Look under Helpful Information.

Your doctor's office
Your flu shot is covered at 100% as preventive care if you get it from a network doctor. Visit DocFind to see if your doctor is in Aetna’s network.

(You may pay other charges if you get other services or if your doctor charges for an office visit. Check with your doctor before you go.)

At work
You may be able to get your flu shot at work from an Aetna-contracted flu vaccine provider. Your employer can provide more information on this option, which is often available at no cost to you.

Flu Care card
You may have received a Flu Care card through your employer.

This debit-style card makes it easy for you and your family members (18 years or older) to get flu shots.

You won't pay anything. Just show your card and a photo ID at a participating pharmacy. There are more than 25,000 pharmacies in the Flu Care network.
